ELECTION NOTICE NO. 1
As per the decision of the managing Committee meeting held on 21st September, 2009 the Election of Press Club of India Executive Committee will be held on Saturday, 24th October, 2009 from 11.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. for the following posts.
(a) Election on Saturday, October 24th, 2009
1. President (One) 2. Vice President (Two)
3. Secretary General (One) 4. Treasurer (One)
(b) Election of 16 Members of the Managing Committee
The Schedule for Election will be as follows :
1. Nomination to be received – 3rd Oct., 2009 - 11.00 a.m. to 11th Oct., 2009 - 6.00 p.m.
2. Scrutiny of Nomination _ 11th Oct., 2009 - 6.30 p.m.
3. Withdrawal of Nomination _ 11th Oct., 2009 - 6.30 p.m. to 15th Oct., 2009 - 6.00 p.m.
4. Polling _ 24th Oct., 2009 (Saturday) - 11.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
5. Counting of Votes _ 25th Oct., 2009 (Sunday) - 10.30 a.m. onwards

N.B. : ALL ORDINARY MEMBERS WHO HAVE CLEARED THEIR DUES BY CHEQUE (BEFORE 10 DAYS OF POLLING DATE i.e. 14TH OCT., 2009) OR CASH, ARE ENTITLED TO CAST THEIR VOTES. THIS RESOLUTION PASSED BY G.B.M. HELD IN 1995 BY FORMER SEC. GEN. LATE SH. CHAND JOSHI.
Subscription and other dues should be cleared for the billing upto 31st August, 2009. Candidates, Proposers and Seconders should clear their dues before filing Nomination.
